Understanding the Power

An EV charger is essentially a smart mains socket. This adapter’s control electronics simulate the EV handshake so the charge point delivers full current safely without a vehicle connected.

On 7 kW single-phase points only L1 + N + E are live (230 V 16 A max). On 11 kW or 22 kW 3-phase chargers all three phases are energised (400 V AC). Always end the session in the app before unplugging.
